HOW DO I START MY MORNINGS: 

I love starting my day with morning pages, by writing a list of things I am grateful for in my life. It brings a smile to my face and helps me to begin the day on a good note. Then, I like to have a short yoga practice, about 30 minutes of Sun Salutations A and B with a little meditation at the end, to keep me centered and focused throughout the day. It can't be argued that I'm a dedicated breakfast lover, so regardless of any morning plans I always make sure I have enough time for that. Now it's cold, I enjoy making a big portion of turmeric porridge with a cup of lemon ginger tea - it's super warming and raises my energy levels high.

WHAT DOES WELLNESS MEAN TO ME: 

Wellness to me is so much more then how you look, to me it’s a lifestyle you have to embrace which helps connect your mind, body and soul - it's about finding balance and love within you. Only then can you be the best version of yourself and from there lovingly inspire the people around you.

MY WELLNESS JOURNEY OVER TIME:

I only realized in the past few years that you need a strong body and mind to be fully healthy. I think it's important to understand that there isn’t a right or wrong approach, when it comes to diet and nutrition it's whatever feels right to you and how your body responds to different circumstances and environments. By just listening to your body and trusting your gut, you will become accustomed to feeling what it is that works for you. Above all, I truly believe life is about creating balance and harmony in all things.

HOW DO I SWEAT:

Power Yoga at Indaba with Stewart Gilchrist or with Psycle London. I also love walking everywhere, especially in nature.

ON FOOD:

Wholesome nutrition is the fundament of a healthy and happy lifestyle. I like to live each day with the freedom to choose what’s right for me in this specific moment and time. I have grown up being allergic to gluten and dairy which limits my choices, however I would not say that I feel I have missed out or needed these in my nutrition. Again, it's about staying true to what is right for you. 

ON BEAUTY:

Never put anything on your skin you can’t put in your body.
